World CBT Day
World CBT Day
World CBT Day is an annual awareness day to ensure individuals learn about the essential role that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) plays in improving mental health care worldwide.
World CBT Day aims to raise awareness of evidence-based practice, highlight research and clinical work, and promote access to effective psychological treatments. There is no health without mental health; let us work together to ensure that the most vulnerable have access to the support they need.

2026 World CBT Day
The theme for World CBT Day 2025-26 was CBT in Action: Mental Health Support in Humanitarian Crises. This theme aligned with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) emphasis on mental health and psychosocial support in humanitarian crises, emergencies and disaster.
On April 7, 2026, CACBT hosted a webinar in support of World CBT Day on World Mental Health Day, titled “Cognitive Processing Therapy in Humanitarian Crises: Evidence, Adaptation, and Impact,” presented by Dr. Phil Shnaider.
